Frame Relay in Missouri

A Frame-Relay circuit can connect a small or medium-sized network or server to the Internet (typically more than 50 computers).

A Frame-Relay circuit has the potential capacity of a T1 circuit and uses a "shared bandwidth" technology. The circuit throttles back and forth in capacity when the network becomes busy: the slowest rate at which the circuit will pass data is known as the Committed Information Rate (CIR); the highest speed is the burst rate (BR).

Frame-Relay is often, but not always, the most cost-effective method to get more than 56K of bandwidth; however, prices are determined on a case by case basis.
