Socket's New Bill

Socket has redesigned your bill to make it easier to understand! Check out the new bill, as well as frequently asked questions below.

Call your local, friendly Socket team at 1-800-762-5383 with any questions.

1. The ACCOUNT INFORMATION section lists your contact information from our current records. This includes: account name, account number, billing address and telephone number.

2. The ACCOUNT STATEMENT section provides a summary of your charges. These are current charges, the prior month's charges, and any payments or credits applied during the prior billing period. Charges are separated into sections, and each section is broken out on later pages.

3. The CONTACT SOCKET section provides Socket's telephone number, email address, Web site, and mailing address. This is repeated on every page for your convenience.

4. Also located on the front page of your Socket bill is your PAYMENT REMITTANCE stub. Tear off and include this stub with your payment. If your account is automatically paid via credit card or direct debit, it will be indicated here. Check the box in the lower right hand corner to request a change of address, or to authorize a different payment method, and write in the amount enclosed.

5. The SERVICE PLAN DETAILS section itemizes the charges within each summary section on the front page of your bill (see Account Statement). Here's where we tell you about any taxes or Federal fees included in your package.

6 & 7. On the back of your Payment Remittance stub, fill out the form on the left hand side to update your billing address and contact number, and fill out the right hand side to authorize any of Socket's convenient Autopay options.




Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my bill changing?
We wanted to offer you a bill that was more reader-friendly, with the account details you've asked for. You should find the new bill easier to understand.

Will my service or pricing change?
Not at all. Your account details will not change, just the way it is arranged on the bill.

My account renews every 3/6/12 months. Will I receive the new bill also?
Yes, you will receive the new bill the next time your account renews.

My account is paid automatically via credit card or direct debit. Will it continue to be?
Yes. Your payment information, including automatically scheduled payments, will remain the same.

I get my bill via e-mail. Does this change affect me?
Yes, the account summary in the e-mail message will look a little different. In addition, you will receive a printer-friendly attachment. You will need a PDF reader to view the attachment (test your PDF Reader). If you need assistance downloading one, or if you want to confirm the safety of PDF attachments before opening them, please call 1-800-762-5383.

Do I have to print my e-mail bill and enclose with payment?
No. If you prefer, you can simply write your customer ID number on your check.

What if I don't understand my bill when it arrives?
Please call us at 1-800-762-5383. We're happy to walk you through your first bill and answer all your questions.
